June 22-25, 2017: Los Angeles Design Tour with Designers Collective

Designers Collective is taking a group of Design Enthusiasts on an exclusive Design and Lifestyle Tour of Los Angeles. Tour highlights include exterior and interior tours of 5 new modern homes, reservations for the new Broad Museum of Modern Art, walking tours of street markets and design hubs, A Dodger's Game at Dodgers Stadium, incredible swag bags, and much more! Come, enjoy, and be pampered like a celebrity for 3 nights and 4 days in beautiful sunny Los Angeles.

Travelling is inspiring. It is a great way to discover new ideas and gives you time to think in a completely new context. We open our eyes a little wider when we are in a new place. Imagine, four days of design and cultural exploration, surrounded by a group of fun, like-minded people.
We will meet you at the hotel, and make sure you are well oriented and have everything you need. The hotel is in the heart of the action and one can often see “stars” just walking down the street.

After everyone arrives by 2pm, we will head out to the Beverly Hills Hotel to start our sightseeing and pop in for a quick cocktail before heading over to Venice Beach for a stroll around the Venice Canals. Finally, we will end up at Gjelina’s for dinner. We will have dessert poolside back at our hotel and rev up for the next day!

Our first morning in LA you have the opportunity to walk down the street and sweat it out at SoulCycle, be prepared for a high-energy indoor-cycling experience! For our first full day in LA, we will head to the Broad Contemporary Art Museum in Downtown Los Angeles. The Broad is designed by architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Gensler. From there we will have lunch at Otium, a new restaurant the LA Times has called "LA's most ambitious new restaurant in years". After lunch we will explore the iconic Watts Towers before heading back to the hotel. The rest of the night is open for you to explore the city and experience the nightlife-- check in with us for suggestions on theatre performances and shows!

Our second full day in LA we will be going on The Dwell Home Tours. We will a have a limo and driver with us for the day as we tour these 5 beautiful homes. We will stop for a light lunch as we are out and about. After touring these amazing homes, we will return to the hotel for dinner poolside before heading out to watch the LA Dodgers play the Denver Rockies at Dodgers Stadium-- cue the hotdogs and ball caps! After the game we will head over to the Sunset Towers for cocktail hour.

After breakfast on Sunday, we will head over to Melrose Trading Post, an incredible collection of Los Angeles Artists, Makers & Musicians in action only on Sundays. We will return to our hotel and pick up our luggage closing out another inspiring tour.
